The
SwimAmerica program is comprised of a team of highly trained
and dedicated professionals. Meet the people behind the program…
Program
Director
SwimAmerica Director Rose Cholewinski brings to the program over
25 years of teaching and coaching experience. In addition to running SwimAmerica,
Rose continues to teach swim lessons, and coach masters and age-group
swimming. She is also the founder of the AquaStarz, a synchronized swimming
team. While Rose enjoys working with all swimmers, she specializes in
teaching the young swimmer. “Learning to swim is so important, but
it is not something that can be rushed,” says Rose. “It’s
important for each child to go at his or her own pace.”
On-Deck
Supervisor
It is the job of the On-Deck Supervisor to ensure that swim lessons run
smoothly and that children are progressing. The On-Deck Supervisor watches
each swim lesson and is responsible for advancing children from one level
to the next. If you have a swim lesson question or concern, the On-Deck
Supervisor or Program Director will be available before and after swim
lessons to discuss or answer any questions you may have.
Instructors
SwimAmerica employs highly skilled and professional instructors.
All instructors have received American Swimming Coaches Association Level
1 Certification. Many of our instructors not only teach swimming, but
are sports coaches and school teachers as well. They possess the wonderful
ability to teach a life-saving skill while making it fun, too!
